High Wear Clear Top Coat — Applied in similar fashion to leather dye. Apply in one or two light coats after the dye for extra protection.

Top Coat can also be applied to modify the existing gloss of the finish, either flattening the finish or glossing it up.

In most cases, high wear top coats aren’t necessary, as you should have full coverage and protection with the leather dye are 3 or 4 light coats. In cases of unusual wear or simply a desire for higher durability, a high wear topcoat can help.
